After finishing his master studies in United States of America, Fitim returned to Kosova and he is currently working at Prishtina High School as Business Manager and Human Resource Manager. We asked Fitim to describe his experience at Prishtina High School, “Teachers at Prishtina High School pay a lot of attention. After just my first year at Prishtina High School I could truly see the improvements in my academic performance.” Fitim Selimi graduated in the first generation from PHS in 2009. After graduating he continued his bachelor studies at the American University in Kosovo (RIT Kosovo) with an 83 percent scholarship from various donors. Fitim graduated with honors from AUK in 2013 with a major in Management and Information Technology and minor in Economics and Statistics. “During my university studies, I truly understood the positive impact of my educational experience at PHS. The applicability and flexibility of teaching helps prepare you for a career in the future. I found it very easy to adapt to an American University because of the American education system that PHS provides,” Fitim noted. During his university studies Fitim worked at IPKO Telecommunications as Client Relations manager. After graduating from American University in Kosovo, Fitim worked at Prishtina High School as Teaching Assistant. In 2014, he won a full scholarship from the Transformational Leadership Scholarships and Partnerships Program that allowed him to pursue, his MBA at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. At Willamette, Fitim was a member of Willamette MBA Scholar – High Honors graduate, Phi Alpha Alpha and Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Societies.
